Marlie G.
Private tutor in Lafayette, LA
Education
I earned my Bachelors degree from Nicholls State University. I graduated in May of 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a 3.98 GPA. I then taught 4th grade Math and Science for one year before moving home. I was then given the opportunity to work part time at the local community college while earning my Master's degree. I will graduate in August 2016 with a Master of Education.
Experience
I have worked off and on over the last 6 years as a Math tutor, and recently involved myself in tutoring for the ACT. I have experience working with a variety of ages and abilities from my experience in the public school system. I earned a 3.5 out of 4 on my teaching evaluation for the 2014-2015 school year. I can attribute my success to a determined attitude that I work to instill in my students.
