Although I have no official "tutoring" experience, I am often helping my nieces and nephews ranging from 3rd grade to a junior in high school. One of my nieces is severely dyslexic so I am experienced with the obstacles that may occur during a tutoring session. I am also helping the junior prepare for his ACT. On my ACT, I scored a 29 overall. The break down of my scores were as follows: English: 32 Reading comprehension: 31 Math: 27 Science: 25 I would like to be a tutor because I enjoy making a difference to someone and I like being a part of the teaching process. I get a joy unlike any other when one of my "kids" comes home excited about a good grade! I am particularly strong in writing, English (including grammar), French, and study skills. Being a public relations major, I am always writing papers or balancing a few exams a week. French is my passion. I have taken classes since I was 11 years old including 12 credit hours in college.
