I am a Teaching Assistant in the Psychology program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I teach lectures and give advice on how to write in APA format. I also provide informal tutoring for students. I volunteer supervising visitations between non-custodial parents and their kids as part of a program called Avec Les Enfants. Currently I serve on the advisory committee for the program. I also serve as a caretaker in a nursery at a local Methodist Church. From August 2010 to July 2011 I was trained as a Grief facilitator for Healing House, a place for grieving children. There I learned to interact with children and help them to express themselves.
